General information

This cookie policy (hereinafter the “Cookie Policy”) describes the different types of cookies we use on the Platform and the way you can configure these cookies.

We maintain a strict privacy policy and are committed to being transparent about the technologies used on our Platform. Insofar as the information collected with cookies contains personal data, the provisions of our Privacy Policy apply and supplement this Cookie Policy.

What exactly are cookies

A cookie is a small text file placed by a website's server in the browser or on the hard drive of your computer or mobile device when you consult or use the Platform. Cookies are used to distinguish you from other users of the Platform.

'First-party cookies' are cookies used by the visited website/platform itself. 'Third-party cookies' are cookies that do not originate from the website/platform used, but from another website/platform.

'Session cookies' are cookies that automatically disappear when you end your session on our Platform. 'Persistent cookies', on the other hand, do not disappear immediately but only after a certain, predefined period.

Your consent is not required for the use of strictly necessary cookies, but we nevertheless inform you about them through this Cookie Policy. For non-essential cookies (e.g. functional cookies, analytics cookies, etc.) we do ask your explicit consent via the cookie banner on the Platform. There you can choose to accept all cookies, refuse them, or accept only certain categories of cookies.

The consent you have given can be withdrawn at any time. Further on in this Cookie Policy we explain how you can do this easily.

Which cookies are used on the Platform

We use different types of cookies on our Platform for the following purposes:

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for browsing our Platform or strictly necessary to provide a service specifically requested/expected by a user. Removing this type of cookie is therefore not possible, which is why only an information obligation applies. If you do not agree, you may not use our Platform.

How can you refuse or manage the use of cookies on the Platform?

If you want to know which cookies have been placed on your device or if you wish to delete them, you can use a setting in your browser. Via the links below you will find more explanation on how to do this per browser. At www.aboutcookies.org you will also find the procedure for refusing cookies for the most commonly used browsers.

You have the option to withdraw your consent to the placing of cookies at any time. However, this withdrawal does not affect processing that took place in the past at the time consent was given.

If you adjust your cookie settings as described above, this may result in certain parts of the Platform not being displayed (correctly) or some interactions not working normally.

You can set your internet browser so that cookies are not accepted, so that you receive a warning when a cookie is installed, or so that cookies are subsequently removed from your hard drive. You can do this via your browser settings (see above).

Protection of your data

All personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. It also explains all your rights as a natural person. If you have problems or complaints in connection with this Cookie Policy, we would like to hear from you. You can always contact us via the contact details included at the top of this Cookie Policy.

Although we prefer to resolve any remarks together with you, please note that you always have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Belgium you can contact the Data Protection Authority for this (see www.dataprotectionauthority.be; address: Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels; T.: +32 (0)2 274 48 00; E: contact@apd-gba.be).

Do you still have questions about the use of cookies?

If you still have questions about the use of cookies on our Platform, you can always contact us via the contact details included at the top of this Cookie Policy. We will then help you as quickly as possible.
