Alongside Belgian law and parliamentary sources, Wally combines four types of firm knowledge: positions your firm has recorded, files from the library, web sources you add yourself, and your firm’s tone of voice. Every answer shows its source and date, so you see exactly what it’s based on.
How does Wally record a position from my firm so every colleague gives the same VAT answer?
You record a position once from a chat conversation, and Wally applies it everywhere after that. Take your position on VAT deduction for a renovation: once it’s recorded, every colleague who asks the same question gets the same answer, with a reference to that position. Knowledge no longer disappears when a colleague leaves the firm, and no one answers the same question a different way.
Can Wally search documents from our own library, like template letters or an AML policy?
Yes, documents your firm shares in the library become searchable for Wally automatically. Think of a template letter, a year-end checklist or your firm’s AML policy: once uploaded, Wally finds the right document and uses it in its answer, with a source reference. A new colleague no longer needs months of onboarding before knowing where the right template lives.
Can I have Wally read along web sources like fisconetplus.be or itaa.be?
Yes, you paste the domain of a website you trust and Wally searches it from then on. Think of fisconetplus.be for tax information or itaa.be for professional guidelines: once a web source is added, Wally can reference it in its answers. Some sites may not be searchable because they require a login; you see that immediately in the web source’s status.
Does a Wally AI answer actually sound like my own firm?
Yes, Wally automatically applies your firm’s tone of voice to every answer. Your firm can set a default tone for, say, e-mails, and you can add your own personal instructions on top, such as "brief and direct, always in English." You never get an answer that sounds like a generic robot, only one that sounds like your firm communicates.
Does my personal knowledge in Wally stay private, even from the office admin (GDPR)?
Yes, you decide yourself whether a position, document or web source stays personal, is shared with specific colleagues, or is visible to the whole firm. Even the office admin can’t see your personal items unless you share them. That split between personal and shared supports responsible access control over firm knowledge, in line with how you need to handle personal data as a firm.
